PROJECT MANAGER LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION
Responsibilities
High-End Residential Client Sales and Project Management
- Client Consultation and Goal Setting: Schedule and conduct meetings with clients to clearly define goals for their property and landscape.
- Design and Visualization:
- Manage detailed landscape/ hardscape plans
- Proposal Development:
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates for landscape/hardscape projects.
- Prepare detailed project proposals.
- Present the plan, 3D model, renderings, and cost proposal to clients.
- Project Execution and Oversight: Conduct project management activities and site visits to ensure proper layout with foremen, team members, and clients.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Expertise in site and project layout.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plant material and landscape construction techniques.
- Experience in landscape project estimation, including job costing and management.
- Ability to draft professional client proposals.
- Proven sales experience with clients.

Maintenance Laborers:
This position will entail assisting with the maintenance crew’s daily operations including but not limited to weekly maintenance, spring/fall cleanup, mulch, shrub/tree pruning, and bed preparation. A laborer is expected to show up on time ready to work with crew throughout the week. The employee will show attention to detail, have strong organizational skills, ability to complete the necessary paperwork and possess good leadership and communication skills. Laborers must have a friendly mindset and professionally conduct themselves at all times towards other employees and our clients.
Daily / Weekly Tasks:
- Daily preparation of equipment needed for the day’s work. Equipment must be checked prior to use so there are no malfunctions on the job site.
- Prepare given tasks on client’s properties diligently, efficiently, and to MF Landscape & Design’s quality standard.
- Address client concerns and questions if asked and report back so we may promptly and efficiently respond to our clients.
- Complete daily timesheets and worksheet at the end of the day to record work done that day.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED. At least 2 years experience landscaping

Construction/Installation Foreman:
This position will entail assisting with construction crew’s daily operations including, but not limited to retaining walls, walkways, stone walls, pool decks, staircases, and driveways. Foreman is expected to show up on time ready to work with crew throughout the week. The employee will show attention to detail, have strong organizational skills, ability to complete the necessary paperwork, and posses’ good leadership and communication skills. Foreman must have a friendly mindset and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times towards other employees and our clients.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED. At least 4 years experience

Snow Plow Operator:
This position entails handling snow removal at residential driveways and commercial business sites. Driver must have 3 years experience with snow removal. Ability to drive skid steer or front-end loader is preferable.

Certified Landscape Professionals:
We are looking for personnel containing MCLP, CIT, CID, CLIA, landscape architect degrees, and other various certifications or degrees to head and manage crews. Applicant must have one or more of the certifications listed above to be considered. Experience, a resume, and proof of certifications are strict requirements.
